I cannot recommend Dave and Jacob of Modern Restoration highly enough! They recently replaced my front door, and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. They were timely, professional, and communicated clearly every step of the way. What stood out most was how caring and friendly they were— truly went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and informed throughout the process. Dave took the time to answer all my questions in detail, making sure I understood my options and was happy with every decision. Their workmanship is excellent, and it’s clear they take pride in doing things right. I hired Modern Restoration to replace our front door. I emphatically recommend them. From start to finish, the process of working with Modern was beyond expectation. After reaching out for a quote, David promptly scheduled a site visit to take measurements, and walk me through our options. His expertise and experience were well appreciated, and at his recommendation, we went with a special type of privacy glass we were originally not even considering -- and it has made all the difference in the door, in both style and functionality. Installation was similarly a breeze, and dare I say, quite enjoyable. David and Jacob's crew was professional, courteous, and just generally fun to have in the house for the day. Their work was superb, and the finished install breathtaking in how it has changed the face of our house. Finally, all this was done for significantly less than other quotes we received. Even after a year of "thinking on" the project, David still honored his original quote. The bottom line is that in addition to using a solid manufacturer for the door, and installing it with a high degree of skill, Modern does business in a way that is so rarely seen in today's churn/burn contractor environment. Jacob and his crew are definitely skilled at their craft, but the most excellent reason I deal with them is for their attitude. They care how the finished product will add value to their customer.

Having owned my own contracting company I am a pretty tough customer myself when it comes to hiring one. The guys at Modern Restoration were second to none. Starting off from the initial estimate until the last day of the job, the guys were always on time, extremely neat, delivered what they promised, were always very professional and it was all done at a fair price. They performed various jobs for me and I can recommend them highly without any hesitation whatsoever.
